The main aim of Mackay’s Triathlon Club is to provide small but regular events for everybody.

Our races vary in length and format (check the calendar for specifics on each race). We use the word ‘Enticer’ meaning that this race will be a shorter distance aimed at encouraging those new to the sport to give it a go no matter what level of fittness or ability you have. You can even wear fins in the swim if you want. It’s all about fun!!

Our favourite locations for these races include the Balnagowan Weir and the Bluewater Quay.
At our local club races we do not award prizes for placings. Every competitor is automatically entered into a random prize draw – you must be present to collect your prize or the number will be re-drawn.

Throughout the year we also throw in some feature races for interest. These might include longer events, memorial races, or sponsored events at special locations.
