Where: Memorial Pool, Mackay
Bring: pull-buoy, fins and kick-boards if you have them
The squad is keen to encourage all ages and all abilities. Sessions will focus on improving technique and endurance
About Jenni Bailey
Jenni started coaching as a volunteer in 2004 but quickly progressed to assistant coach within the same year. In 2007 Jenni became head coach, and for the past four years has enjoyed taking her swimmers to meets around South Australia and enjoying their successes.
Jenni holds an Australian Accredited Bronze Coaching Licence including Australian Swimming Coaching and Teachers Accreditation (ASCTA) insurance. She has a current Bronze Medalion (Royal Life Saving), AUSTswim, Criminal History Screening and Responding to Abuse and Neglect, Resuscitation and Senior First Aid certificates.
Jenni’s background includes being a competitive swimmer for 17 years during which she represented South Australia in five State Swimming teams and four State Triathlon teams. Jenni has competed in open water events including 2 OW in New Zealand, medaled at the Arafura Games in Darwin in 1999 and 2001 and was South Australia’s State Female Age Group Champion from 2000 to 2003 for Triathlon.
